Join me in supporting Care Dimensions
I am participating in the Annual Walk for Hospice to remember loved ones and to raise essential funds to ensure Care Dimensions can provide expert and compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most.
This is a very personal event for me, as Care Dimensions provided incredible end of life care for our family several times over the past 12 months. My grandfather was cared for at the Kaplan House in Danvers in September 2022. My uncle Bob received wonderful care at home in November of 2022. My dad was a patient of Care Dimensions for over 4 years, and was cared for so well by the Care Dimensions team, as well as the staff at Masconoment Healthcare Center in Topsfield. He passed away in January of 2023. My mom was cared for with such compassion and love at the Kaplan House in Danvers, for the last week of her life in March 2023. My aunt Sharon also received wonderful hospice care at Masconoment in June 2023.
I will join a community of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families on end-of-life journeys should receive expert and compassionate care. We felt this need firsthand and we will be forever grateful to all the amazing people who do this work. They gave us the opportunity to spend quality time together, in the final days, and kept our mom, dad, grandfather, uncle and aunt comfortable, which was truly amazing.
The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice safeguard Care Dimensions ability to offer vital services including complementary therapy such as music, pet, Reiki and massage, grief support, community education, volunteer program and a family fund to help with urgent, non-medical needs.
I hope you will support me and make a gift. Together, we can make the difficult paths easier.
