Welcome to My Personal Page
I will be walking in memory of my father, Stefano Acierno. My dad was a patient of Care Dimensions for several years. The many services they provide were above and beyond expectation. They made sure he had all the comforts of a medical facility at his home so he could be in a familiar place and with his family. I am so grateful and blessed to have had them. They were the only ones that were able to replace our sadness, fear, and uncertainty with relief and happiness; they made it possible for us to enjoy what was left of my dad’s life.
I am doing the annual walk because I want other families to have what we had. It is the 33rd Annual Walk for Hospice; this walk raises essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most. Care Dimensions serves more than 2,000 patients every day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides works to provide a complete continuum of care.
Although the Walk has gone virtual this year, I will still join thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
