This will be my fifth year that I am walking in the Annual Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice to raise essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most. This year is I am walking again in memory of my amazing mother-in-law Virginia Moore O'Grady who passed away in January 2021 on Care Dimension's services. She was 96 years young and was very appreciative of the care and support Care Dimensions provided so she could live her final months independently and in the comfort of her beautiful home surrounded by family.
Care Dimensions serves more than 2,000 patients every day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides works to provide a complete continuum of care.
I will join thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
