Welcome to My Personal Page
I am walking in the 34th Annual Walk for Hospice in honor of those friends and family who are caregivers and to raise essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most. Care Dimensions serves more than 2,000 patients every day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides works to provide a complete continuum of care.
Although the Walk will be virtual again this year, I will still join thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
We all know someone on the front lines of the pandemic. Workers who have been putting in long hours; workers who have held the hand of someone as they cross over; workers who honor the creed of "Do no harm." We also all know family members who care for their loved ones, sometimes without relief or help day in and day out. Whether it's been the virus or other illness, caregivers have been there to do the job. Hospital workers, group home staff, crisis intervention workers, EMTs, paramedics-- all are heroes to me and this is my small way of paying homage.
I am planning to walk 5 miles that day and I hope you can help me by making a donation. Even a few dollars will help Care Dimensions continue their work.
Thank you for visiting my page. With your support, we can make the difficult paths easier.
