I am very excited and honored to be part of the team organizing the 35th Annual Walk for Hospice. In my position at Care Dimensions, I am privileged to see the impact that funds raised have on patients and loved ones. It is meaningful to me personally and professionally to put on this incredible Walk. This year we are back in person and I can't wait to experience the collective experience of celebrating our loved ones who have passed.  Every patient and family traversing this challenging journey should receive expert care and comfort wherever they call home. Care Dimensions raises funds to ensure that every patient and family receives exceptional and compassionate care.

I lost my wonderful Mom, Estelle Lourie on March 13, 2019. She was a hospice patient in Florida for over 15 months. I saw directly how much she benefitted from the incredible kindness and care that hospice gives. She suffered greatly from pain and her music therapist made such a difference. She also received many visits from the Chaplain. Pastor Dale brought my mom a sense of peace and faith that was so critical at this time of her life. I believe she lived longer and certainly better for having been in hospice. Many of these services including pet therapy, music therapy, volunteer services and bereavement support are only possible from fundraising.
