Lisa's Walk for Hospice Page
Please join me in my efforts to raise money for Care Dimensions so they may continue to provide the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible to patients with advanced illness, and their families.
I am walking again in the Walk for Hospice to remember loved ones, including:
- My childhood friend, Jill Parker, who died at Care Dimensions' Kaplan Family Hospice House on January 8, 2019
- Jill's mom, Iona, who died February 27, 2020
- My aunt and uncle, Toni and Lou Theriault, who received hospice from Care Dimensions during their end-of-life journeys (in 2022 and 2016, respectively).
I know they received the best possible care at the most difficult time. I want that for everyone who needs it.
Care Dimensions serves more than 2,000 patients each day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides work to provide a complete continuum of care.
Money raised through the Walk for Hospice helps ensure that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of ability to pay.
Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you will support me in the Walk for Hospice.
