Walking for my twin sister Kate Maroney
It was with a heavy heart that I walked on Sunday, 9.29.19 for my twin sister Kate. Walking is a way for me to give back, heal and honor Kate's strength and courage dealing with ovarian cancer in 2018. Sadly she didn't survive. Thankfully Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA offered care and comfort for Kate in the last 3 weeks of her life leading up to her death on 1.9.19. Grateful!
Join me as I raise money for Care Dimensions!
I walked in the 32nd Annual Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice to remember loved ones and to raise essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most.
On September 29th I joined thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
Thank you for visiting my page. With your support, we can make the difficult paths easier. Much love, James
