Lance Eaton's Fundraising Page
As some of you may know, my dad, Tod "Mudty" Eaton passed away in August, 2019. If you would like to learn more, you can read the eulogy I gave at his Celebration of Life. You are also welcome to read this much longer essay on his passing. While we were sad in his passing, the process was made as comfortable and dignified as possible with the care, support, and kindess of the folks at Care Dimensions. They work and attention allowed all of us to spend our last days focused on Mudty and being there. We are so grateful for the peace they have us as we witnessed Mudty's final days.
On September 29, I am walking in the 32nd Annual Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice to remember Mudty and to raise essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most. Care Dimensions serves more than 1,200 patients every day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides works to provide a complete continuum of care.
On September 29th, I will join thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
