Join me as I raise money for Care Dimensions!
I will be walking with my family and friends in the 32nd Annual Care Dimensions Walk. This is very personal to me, as prior to last December I had never walked into a Care Dimensions or Hospice. Sadly, days before Christmas I spent many hours at the Kaplan Hospice House Care Dimensions in Danvers, to comfort my oldest girlfriend and sit by her husband and my dear friend Derek as he was losing his battle with esophageal cancer. In the midst of all the sorrow and pain Care Dimensions provided Carolee and her boys, and the many family and friends who were there around the clock during those days, all the comforts of home and a special compassion that it to be commended.
I am walking in the 32nd Annual Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice to remember loved ones and to raise essential funds so that Care Dimensions can provide expert, compassionate care to patients and their families when they need it most. Care Dimensions serves more than 1,200 patients every day, wherever they call home. Their team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides works to provide a complete continuum of care.
On September 29th, I will join thousands of walkers who, like me, believe that patients and their families should have the best quality and the most comprehensive end-of-life care possible. The funds raised in the Walk for Hospice help to bridge gaps in funding and ensures that exemplary care is given to all patients and their loved ones. Your support of this event means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
